A little winter snuggle

Don't they look happy with their new winter snugglies made by MiMi, and this is one of the best reasons to make a quilt.

A winter visitor

Look who came to visit and try to warm himself in the sun.
Poor thing it's about 8 degrees out there but he managed to find a little patch of sun.

A big Thank You

I am sending out a big Thank you to Sandi over at Legacy of Stiches. Sandi had a give away, I was lucky enough to have my name drawn. I can't wait to try this bag pattern, and the nice brights give me a good starting point for a nice spring bag.  Thanks again Sandi.

Goodbye to old Red

Today my husband sold his pickup truck, I know to most this is nothing huge...but to him it was a big deal.
This truck was the first new vehicle he ever bought and he is very very picky about keeping it clean and maintained. It was very sad to see the truck pull away.

opam finish number 2 and 3

I did the Friday Night Sew In this week with my sister  Patty and was able to complete the bindings on my

granddaughters quilts, a little winter snuggler for them both. We had a great time and now I have two more to add to my opam lists, on to number three.

Friday Night Sew In

Friday night sew in was great, nice cup of tea with my Sister Patty who came to sew with me.
Next we had a nice soak in the hot tub and then a few hours of concentrated  sewing, here is what I worked on.
Finished the binding on my grandaughters quilt, this is one of two that I made one for each of my granddaughters.
I also loaded and started this quilt for a customer, it is now complete and ready for pick up.
lots accomplished, can't wait for the next one.

Friday Night Sew In

Ok it's finally here, Friday Night Sew In, I will be working on a quilt top for my daughter that needs finishing.
My sister is here sewing with me tonight hopefully it will be a productive evening.
